In Term 1, our Year 7 students completed a Cross Curricula Activity in PDHPE with Music and Religion. For PDHPE, the students were required to complete the VIA Character Strengths Survey and then reflect on how they use their top five strengths. They were also asked to reflect on people/groups, places or things they have a sense of belonging to. The task finished by creating a Personal Pitch, where the students had to tell us all about themselves in one minute video. Not only was it a fantastic way for the PDHPE teachers to get to know more about our students, it was particularly pleasing to help the students identify and be proud of their unique identities.
