Physical Activity and Sport Studies (PASS) is an elective course in Year 9 and 10. The aim of PASS is to enhance the student's ability to participate in sport and physical activity.

Year 9 - Technology in Sport

In Term 2, our Year 9 students explored how technology in sport impacts performance, participation and safety. The work showcased is their Assessment Task, where the students were required to select one sport and explore how technology is used in that sport. They needed to create a timeline on how technology has evolved, present how technology is currently used and propose ways technology could be used in the future to enhance participation and performance.

Year 10 - Learning A New Skill

In Term 1, our Year 10 developed their fundamental movement skills to then be able to confidently transfer movement skills to various movement contexts. The students spent time exploring the importance of effective practise and types of feedback in mastering a skill. The work showcased is their Assessment Task, where they were required to select a different form of juggling and master the skill by monitoring their progress, practising and providing feedback.
